Alia Bhatt speaks about watching Pooja Bhatt on Bigg Boss OTT season 2: “I found a whole new dynamic”

Actress Alia Bhatt recently shared her newfound love for reality TV. In a candid conversation with Allure, Alia opened up about her binge-watching habits, including her fondness for the Netflix show Too Hot To Handle and her experience of watching her sister Pooja Bhatt on Bigg Boss OTT season 2.

Alia Bhatt’s Reality TV Favorites
During the 2020 lockdown, Alia Bhatt discovered her guilty pleasure: Too Hot To Handle. The popular Netflix reality dating show quickly became one of her favorites. Alia mentioned with a laugh, “My guilty pleasure, something that I picked up during the lockdown, is watching Too Hot To Handle on Netflix.” She elaborated on her choice, saying, “You might say, ‘Oh why aren’t you watching movies that give you some depth, make you learn something about acting and performing,’ but honestly, I just want to sit on my floor, take out my waxing strips and wax my legs while watching Too Hot To Handle. Even now, when I’m too tired at the end of the day, I switch on to that show.”
Watching Pooja Bhatt on Bigg Boss
Closer to home, Alia Bhatt admitted to being a dedicated viewer of Bigg Boss OTT, particularly when her sister, Pooja Bhatt, participated in the show. Alia was so engrossed that she watched the live feed of the show while managing her busy schedule. “In the last season of Bigg Boss OTT, my sister was in it, so I was binge-watching that. You can clock in to the live camera and see the house live; I would watch it in the middle of shoots and work. But it was really nice because I found a whole new dynamic to my sister,” Alia shared.
Upcoming Projects for Alia Bhatt
On the work front, Alia Bhatt is set to star in the film Jigra alongside Vedang Raina. Directed by Vasan Bala, the film promises to showcase Alia in a gripping new role. Additionally, Alia will be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal. The actress is also preparing for her role in Alpha, a film that includes Sharvari as a super-agent and is directed by Shiv Rawail.
