Alia Bhatt shares how she and Ranbir Kapoor handle success and failure

Alia Bhatt has spoken out about what she has learnt from her husband, Ranbir Kapoor. Alia spoke with Harper’s Bazaar India on how she and Ranbir handle adversity and achievement.

Alia said, “Ranbir and I handle things differently. I am more contemplative, a bit of an overthinker, while he prefers to shake off the dust and move on quickly. It’s this difference that helps us support each other, providing balance when it’s needed the most.”

She also added, “But both of us choose to focus on work with a lot of love and immense respect. We work like it is a part of our life—a very important one—but not the whole of our life.”

After dating for five years, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia married in a modest ceremony on April 14, 2022, in the former’s Bandra property, Vastu. The couple had their first kid in November of that year.

Ranbir was recently seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal, where he played Ranvijay Singh and received accolades for his performance. He will portray Aziz in the upcoming Animal Park sequel. Ranbir is preparing for Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana, which stars Sai Pallavi and Lara Dutta, among others.

Alia will appear in Vasan Bala’s Jigra, which she co-produced alongside Karan Johar. The film is slated to enter theaters on September 27, 2024. She is also poised to play the lead in a Spy Universe film, which will begin production later this year.
