Among Bollywood celebrities who promote sports and support these ventures is popular actor Abhishek Bachchan. Amid his films and other work commitments, Jr. Bachchan never fails to take time out to cheer and appear in support of his pro kabaddi team. Almost, at their every match, the actor is seen watching the matches with equal enthusiasm from the stands and often accompanying him is often members from his family which includes actress-wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, daughter Aaradhya Bachchan, and father Amitabh Bachchan.
Continuing the tradition, the Bachchan family was in attendance at the recent pro-kabaddi match, rooting for their team Jaipur Pink Panthers who were pitted against U Mumba. The NSCI Dome, where the match was held, was practically vibrating with star power on January 6 amid the presence of the Bachchan family as they cheered for their home team. And it was truly a moment of pride for Abhishek when the Pink Panthers emerged victorious with a commanding scoreline of 41-31, sending the NSCI Dome into a frenzy of cheers and applause not only from Amitabh Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan but also from the audiences who attended the match.

On the work front, Abhishek Bachchan was last seen in the sports drama Ghoomer with Saiyami Kher where he received a lot of praises for his portrayal of an alcoholic cricket coach. On the other hand, Aishwarya was last seen in Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus Ponniyin Selvan.
