After ‘liver’, Orry coins a new term, ‘Retox’: “When people say, ‘We need to detox’, I say, ‘I need to retox’”; also says “You are wasting time by sleeping; sleep only as much as you need to”

Orhan Awatramani aka Orry has become a popular celebrity after netizens began spotting him at almost every Bollywood party. He has given several interviews and yet, there’s a curiosity to know more about him and his views. Some time back, he coined the term ‘liver’ after he claimed that “I am a liver”. And it became a catchphrase. Now, in an interview to a popular social media page, Things2Do, Orry invented a new term – retox!

The topic of ‘retox’ began when Orry was asked where he goes to have a relaxing time. He said, “The experience of going to The Library Café was a relaxing one.”

However, he made it clear that “I am not going to do other things (to relax). I am not looking into yoga, meditation, etc. I feel relaxing is a waste. It’s important to a lot of people but for me, it’s a waste of time. I am sure many people need to relax or deal with their stress. But I don’t need to relax.”

He then said, “When people say, ‘We need to detox’, I say, ‘I need to retox! Retoxicate me immediately’!”

Orry further explained his point saying, “I don’t have time to waste. You are not going to find me in my home with my feet up and the TV switched on. I am not sitting and listening to music and doing nothing. That’s not me. Time cannot be wasted.”

He also remarked, “I don’t like sleeping because when you sleep, you are wasting even more time. Sleep as much as you need to but if you sleep more than you have to sleep, you are wasting your time by not being awake and alive. I love my reality so much that I wanna be a part of that. I believe that when I sleep, I miss out on the things that I could have done.”
