WhatsApp on Friday announced that it will soon start rolling out end-to-end encrypted cloud backups on Android and iOS. The new move will allow users to secure their chat backups stored on Apple iCloud and Google Drive with end-to-end encryption — the same level of protection and security that is available for messages and calls on WhatsApp.
