90 Day Fiance: Shekinah Garner Asks Sarper Guven for Therapy Update

Shekinah Garner seeing Sarper Guven destroying his memory bottles, getting rid of the hookups book, and going to therapy helped her decide to move back into his apartment. She feels that he is showing he is willing to make changes, so she is giving him another chance.

The 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way reality star asks if going to therapy helped him understand things better. He tells her, “Yeah,” and that “therapy works.” However, she tells him that going one time is not enough. She adds that they have to keep going.

Shekinah asks Sarper if he made any steps to move forward with therapy while she was away. He tells her that he has scheduled another appointment for therapy. She wants to know if the appointment is for both of them or only himself. He tells her, “Himself.”

Sarper Lies to Shekinah About Therapy Appointment

Shekinah thinks it’s weird that Sarper didn’t tell her that he made an appointment to see the therapist. She explains that any time he does something good, he can’t wait to tell her about it. But he didn’t say anything about the appointment, so she didn’t believe him.

Sarper Guven explains that therapy is not a familiar thing in Turkey. He reveals that if a man does go to therapy, he doesn’t tell anyone. So he isn’t eager to make an appointment. But when he saw how hopeful she looked when he told her he made an appointment, he decided to say a “pink lie.”

The 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way castmate admits that if Shekinah Garner hadn’t caught him lying and was happy about him making an appointment, he would’ve gone straight to his laptop and made the appointment for real.

Shekinah explains that Sarper has seen her be a submissive, loving person. She likes it when a man takes charge. However, she is also going to speak up if something she doesn’t like happens. She feels he has gotten away with a lot in his life, and many women have let him. But she is not going to be that person. She needs him to behave completely differently if he wants to be with her.
