Shekinah Garner sees Sarper Guven‘s behavior as a red flag on 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way. They get into a fight after a birthday celebration goes wrong. But will she forgive him — or walk away for good?
Shekinah Garner and Sarper Guven had a great time celebrating their birthdays with his family. However, the celebration didn’t last. She reveals they got into a huge fight and decided to leave and check into a hotel. She admits she doesn’t know if she wants to see him again.
The 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way cast member explains that Sarper has been texting her and sending her videos of himself apologizing. She adds that he tells her he is ashamed of how he acted and “hates himself.”
Shekinah feels that Sarper didn’t have a birthday gift for her. After meeting up with his parents, she told him she was going to give him the gifts she got him. She thinks he was panicking because he didn’t have anything to give her. So, she explains that he told her he was going to buy her a vanity for her birthday. But she didn’t like any of them.
The 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way castmate explains that it turned into a huge fight. She feels that he showed a side of himself that was different from anything she had seen from him before. Shekinah admits that they have gotten into fights before, during which she would leave and stay at a hotel. But she feels that this fight was worse than the others.
Shekinah reveals that Sarper ripped her phone out of her hands. He also ripped out a piece of her hair extension. She understands that she was upset and triggered. So, she doesn’t want to see that side of him ever again.
Shekinah Garner explains that Sarper Guven ripping her phone out of her hands was wrong. She isn’t okay with someone “physically removing something” from her. Having that happened to her was a trigger. She explains that she had an ex-boyfriend who was very physically abusive.
However, the 90 Day Fiance: The Other Way celeb feels that him ripping her hair extension out was a mistake. She knows that he didn’t mean to do that. But she believes he did mean to grab her phone. And she is not okay with that.
Shekinah reveals that Sarper doesn’t want to hear about her past. So, he doesn’t know about her abusive ex-boyfriend. But whether he knew about it or not, she still didn’t think his behavior was acceptable. She feels that he believes they are going to fall back into a happy life together. However, she says, “He’s totally wrong.” She saw a side of him that she doesn’t like, and she sees it as a red flag.
