Nikki from 90 Day Fiance shocks Justin after revealing her transgender identity. The newcomers are ready to share their unique love story in the upcoming season.
Nikki met Justin close to two decades ago on a Moldavian dating website. They were together for two years. However, he didn’t know that she was transgender. When he found out, he couldn’t handle that she kept him in the dark about her transgender identity.
The 90 Day Fiance newcomers split up and went their separate ways. However, love is in the air again for the pair. They will have three months to wed, or he must return to Moldova. Will they be able to put the past in the past and give love another shot?
Nikki opens up about how Justin found out she is transgender. She explains he was lazy and wasn’t helping her with the housework. So, she felt that she had to do everything by herself. They got into a lot of “heated arguments.”
In one of those arguments, the 90 Day Fiance cast member tells him she has a secret. She says to him, “I used to be a man.” She reveals that he freaked out when he discovered she was transgender.
Nikki explains that she was 20 when she got the gender confirmation surgery. When she woke up and felt her new body, she started to get emotional. She finally felt like a woman. She says she felt “reborn again.”
The TLC castmate was living her life “stealth” at the time. Nikki explains that it means you don’t tell people “the way you were born.” She says that she was “in the closet” and very closed. And didn’t have any friends in her community. She only wanted to have female friends.
Nikki and Justin had been dating for two years when he discovered she was transgender. He was shocked and didn’t know how she could lie to him. She feels that she traumatized him. She explains that Justin went back to his country and was depressed for a really long time.
The 90 Day Fiance couple broke up in 2007. However, 15 years later, they are giving their love another shot. Throughout the years, they kept in contact with each other. But a few years ago, they talked about being single and in better places. They thought it would be crazy to get back together.
Nikki then planned a trip with Justin to Mexico to reconnect. While they were there, he told her she was the love of his life. And, then, he proposed to her. When she returned to America, she applied for a fiance visa for the second time.
Nikki feels their love wasn’t ready when she first applied for the fiance visa. But now, she is returning to Moldova, hoping for a different outcome. However, when she arrives, she feels that Justin is being cold to her. She questions if he is still attracted to her.
