90 Day Fiance couple Mary and Brandan‘s odd and obsessive relationship has TLC fans calling it a trainwreck waiting to happen. Their long-distance relationship is a lot for them to handle and the fact that his family is completely against them makes things even worse.

90 Day Fiance: The Other Way – Mary Feels Threatened by Brandan’s Family

Mary is aware that his mom Angela and his siblings hate her. They feel she is too controlling, and he chooses her over them. When he tells them that is not the case their argument turns nasty.

His mom feels bad that she missed out on much of her son’s life due to her battle with drug addiction. Now that his mom wants to change that, Mary stands in her way.

During a sit-down with his family, he allows his girlfriend listens in. She keeps her phone on mute but can hear the entire conversation between them, and she doesn’t like it. The 90 Day Fiance cast member gets angry. She feels his family is ganging up on her and wants to come between them.

Mary feels threatened. But she thinks she needs to tighten the reins, so his family doesn’t tear them apart. She is counting down the days until Brandan’s arrival in the Philippines. She knows once she gets him there with her there his family won’t be able to interfere.

Brandan Gets Played by TLC Girlfriend

Mary and Brandan both admit to abandonment and trust issues. However, his 90 Day Fiance girlfriend seems to have one set of rules for him and another for her.

Except he doesn’t know that yet. She wants to be involved in every waking and sleeping moment of his life. If he denies her then she will go off the deep end. He even has to take his phone with her on it into the bathroom with him.

She seems to enjoy having control over him. He only asks that she do the same. For the most part, they stay on the phone together 24/7. Except when she has plans to go out. Once her 90 Day Fiance boyfriend falls asleep, she disconnects their phone connection and the Wi-Fi and heads out with her group of all-male friends.

If he wakes up to find her missing, she tells him they suffered a power outage in her city. She is going behind her partner’s back. This is something she would never tolerate from him. But she has her reasons. She hates to stay home and feels too cooped up if she doesn’t see her friends. It is sneaky and deceiving. But as long as he doesn’t know, it won’t hurt him.

90 Day Fiance: Life Is About to Change

Brandan has plans to relocate out of the country. He is scheduled to leave in a week. He is ready to give up his entire life in Oregon. His family is unaware that he plans on using all of his resources to build a home in the Philippines.

90 Day Fiance star Mary is worried that once he arrives her life will completely change. She loves him and wants to build her world around him. But in the meantime, she hasn’t been honest. She fears that once Brandan finds out about the things, she has been hiding it may be game over for them.
