90 Day Fiance: The Other Way’s Kimberly Rochelle has been arguing with Tejaswi Goswami and his family since she first arrived in India. The clairvoyant American may have finally reached a breaking point. Despite it being only three days until their wedding, there were huge signs this relationship might be over. This time however, TJ Goswami defended his wife in her decision wear to ripped jeans around his family. His mother felt severely disrespected by Kimberly for not adhering to their cultural modesty with her attire.  However, with family being so important to TJ, will this be the final straw between the couple?

90 Day Fiance: Bright Wedding for Kimberly Rochelle and TJ Goswami

TJ Goswami and Kimberly Rochelle go to see their wedding venue and even fans are impressed. Though there are some initial concerns, the 90 Day Fiance pair compromised nicely. “I’m happy that she’s excited about the wedding,” he told the cameras. “But I’m worried on the other hand, because she’s so specific about the things she wants. [She wants] perfection and everything.”

TJ continued, “There are a lot of things which are different in Indian weddings than American weddings. And because she was not that much involved in the wedding planning, I’m worried during the wedding day she might find something she may get upset about and ruin the wedding festivities.

But like in a recent situation with his brother Yash Kimberly is happy to get some much-needed support from Tejaswi. Sharing in a confessional, “It was a great relief just to feel like TJ Goswami has my back. I want him to feel like we can be a family.” She decided to accept the brightly colored venue. They also agreed to add in lots of white and light pink flowers for Kimberly Rochelle.

The Other Way: TJ’s Mother Demands Kimberly Learn Some Manners

In an attempt to reconcile their differences from the night before, Kimberly joined TJ to speak with his brother Yash and his mother and father to clear up any misunderstandings. But as soon as Kimberly Rochelle entered the room, her future mother-in-law took issue with her ripped jeans and demanded she learn some “manners” and adhere to Indian customs.

“A daughter-in-law should wear appropriate clothes,” Alka tells cameras. “She should dress fully. Her cloth below is completely missing. What’s the point of wearing clothes? Her father-in-law is sitting there. Respect your elders a little. It’s not as if her coming to the house in indecent clothes will benefit her in any way.”

Tejaswi fights for Kimberly, telling his mom and brother, Yash Goswami that they need to have patience with her. But his mom has had enough, bringing up Kimberly’s prior explosive argument with Yash. She says Kimberly acted “obnoxious” when she yelled at Yash not to touch her when he didn’t touch her, and that “baseless allegations” like this would put them all in jail.

Kimberly retreated to the stairwell and TJ Goswami continues to argue with his family. “The one thing I wanted was not to be stuck in the middle of people yelling at me or about me in a foreign language that I don’t understand. They’re just being rude,” she told 90 Day Fiance cameras.

Then she said “I’m worried about TJ. I feel bad because I feel like this is all my fault, but I won’t live in this environment. I grew up in a toxic household. I’m not doing it again.” TJ and Kimberly are in agreement for once. They both agree that she should be given more tolerance and patience with Indian customs.

The preview for next week’s episode showed Kimberly Rochelle packing her bags and a van arriving to presumably transport her elsewhere. The big question is whether or not she took money to stay in a hotel nearby for the evening or if she was headed to the airport and back home to the United States. Given what occurred, it’s hard to predict if she’ll want to stick around for the wedding, given where everything stands with TJ’s family.

As for TJ’s most recent whereabouts. His LinkedIn profile reveals he’s not staying in Jaipur anymore. He’s not even staying in the same state. TJ Goswami mentions his current location is “Gurugram, Haryana” in India. He has taken up a “hybrid” job as a Senior Associate in the new city at GLG. He has been working there since July 2022.
