Ashley Michelle is in New York with Manuel Velas on Happily Ever After. They are in the city to visit his family. However, he mixes up the town with Newark, New Jersey. Despite the mix-up, the couple plans to make the best of their trip. However, it isn’t off to a good start.
The 90 Day Fiance couple land in the Big Apple. She wants to teach him the names of famous landmarks. But the only thing he can think about is getting food. He is hungry, and she doesn’t seem to care. She wants to shower and get ready first before they head out to get some food.
Ashley asks Manuel if he knows what “hangry” means. He tells her he doesn’t know what that is. She explains that it is an English phrase that puts two words together. She says it’s when someone is so hungry that they start to get angry. He agrees that it is him.
Ashley and Manuel plan to meet his friend Jonathan at a restaurant for dinner. But before she starts to get ready, she wants to make a cup of coffee. He can’t believe she is making something to drink when he wants to eat, and he starts to get annoyed.
The 90-Day Fiance: Happily Ever After castmate tells his wife to forget about the coffee and start getting ready because he is hungry. She says that they both need to shower before heading out. So, she will make some coffee while he is taking a shower. He tells her to make it quickly so they can go. She agrees to hurry.
Ashley is ready for her New York vacation. However, she can’t believe Manuel had a “full-on tantrum” because he was hungry. She adds, “Are you or are you not about to be 37 years old?”
Ashley Michelle decides to take out her tarot cards and do a reading. She wants to see what her cards are going to say about their New York trip. She wants to see if it will go well or not. And then she will take a shower and get ready to go out for dinner. Manuel Velas gets upset and asks God for a slice of bread because he feels his wife is staving him.
The 90 Day Fiance: Happily Ever After celeb’s cards show that this trip is all about working together. The cards also show “irrational emotion.” Ashley feels it’s fitting since her husband is being irrational about not getting food right away. But do the cards show that Manuel will be getting food?
