It’s been a year since Brahmastra released in theatres. Starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan in the lead roles, the film was directed by Ayan Mukerji and released in theatres on September 9, 2022. The fantasy mythology-inspired drama gave a peak into the world of astras (celestial weapons). Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone had cameos in the movie. After Karan Johar and Ayan Mukerji, Alia Bhatt has shared a series of unseen photos and videos while reminiscing the journey of the movie. She also shared a video of herself giving a look test.
Sharing a video on her Instagram, Alia Bhatt wrote, “A piece of our hearts..Can’t believe it’s already been a wholeeeee year. Love & Light alwayss.” The video begins with Ayan explaining a scene to Alia as she hugs him. One can hear Ranbir in the background of the video who says, “moment hai! moment hai!” Then, you see their first look test shot. In another shot, Ranbir is covered in towel after rain sequence. Alia wrote in the caption, “Someone hates rain sequence.”

Following that, Ayan Mukerji also shared the artwork process which has begun for part 2 and 3 of the franchise. He said, “BRAHMĀSTRA – PART TWO: DEV Early Concept Art Work. Has been a few months of working steadily on the Vision and Story for Brahmāstra 2 & 3! On this special day for Team Brahmāstra, felt like sharing a few key images of our Inspiration. #brahmastra2 #DEV.”

Brahmastra is a story about Shiva and Isha, a young couple played by Ranbir and Alia, who learn about the secrets of the astras. Together, they try their best to stop the forces of evil from destroying the universe. The film also starred Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia and Mouni Roy.
